Z1216 I/O Controller

Sensors and power control are the essence of Machine-To-Machine communications.  Over the years Ctek's SkyRouters have demonstrated  interoperability with every major RTU and PLC on the market. Now Ctek has introduced a series of  I/O controllers that are fully integrated with the SkyRouter and NetServer application platforms and scaled for real world endpoint requirements.

 Ctek's Z1216 is available with either a USB or RS485 communications interface. The I/O module provides eight (8) current sinking (switch to ground) digital outputs capable of 250ma at 30 volts and eight (8) simultaneous Digital (0 to 30 V) and analog inputs that are 0 to 5 Volt with a single-ended 12 bit A/D conversion. The digital inputs may also be configured for a pulse counting mode commonly used in utility meter installations. The Z1216U is powered and controlled by its USB interface to Ctek's SkyRouter family of cellular routers. The Z1216S uses an eternal power supply. From the SkyRouter input/output sampling and control is available using a web interface, SMS (text messaging), pre-built applications, or through a defined protocol/API.  Combined with the wireless and application capabilities of the SkyRouter the Z1216 becomes a complete automation control solution.
